Event Description

Four of us went to one of the oldest no-kill animal shelters in the nation to undergo volunteer training on Jan. 10th so that we may return and volunteer whenever we can. For those of in the Springfield, Pa. area, Francisvale is virtually in our own backyard in neighboring Radnor Twp. The next volunteer tarining session will be on Feb 21st. We invite all to come for this training so that in your spare time you can volunteer with these beautiful dogs and cats! See our album on this site, "Francisvale No-Kill Shelter" to view photos of our visits on Jan. 3rd and Jan. 10th and go to Francisvale's website to learn more about this wonderful shelter.

Thanks Rachael! So glad you are coming on Sunday! Maybe Nancy's friend wants to come as well?

Dianne - Thanks for posting this. Nancy's good friend had to put down her dog on Sunday and they are now looking to adopt. This is the second dog they had to put down in less than six months. They both were very old. She loves dogs. I will make sure she looks into this website. Hope you are enjoying your time in D.C.
