Event Description
Cumberland County will be dedicating a pink remembrance tree to Casey on Friday evening, July 16, 2010. The tree appears in the event photo, next to a Casey banner.
While dedicated to Casey, the pink remembrance trees throughout the area also stand as a memorial to all those whose lives have been lost to traffic accidents and as a symbol of traffic safety.
Join Casey's family, friends and N.J. officials at 7:30 p.m. in Millville for the dedication. Read about the event on the Foundation News and updates blog.

I am on the road that day for work, but I plan to attend if I make it home through the Friday shore traffic in time. Hopefully I will see you there!

Of course I will be attending. The City of Millville is coordinating the tree dedication along with their Third Friday event which highlights the Millville river front and the art galleries and restaurants of the historic Glasstown District. Besides the dedication of the tree, there are alot of other activities going on in the area for people to enjoy.

The 16th sounds 'do-able', but I have to check to see if either Jim or Jamie will accompany me. Jim is already in MLVL that day; perhaps I can bring Mom and Dad. I guess I should change my attendance from "might attend" to "will attend."
