Hey everyone! The site has a new member and fellow runner, Kayleigh Taylor, who is a senior at Fordham. Casey was one of the very first people Kayleigh and I met at Fordham, and we spent an August day in 2006 walking around the Fordham Lincoln Center area together.

Inspired by Casey to live life to the fullest and not postpone any personal goals, Kayleigh is training to run the Vancouver Marathon in May 2010 with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training. Please help Kayleigh met her charitable goal by visiting her fundraising page! And best of luck!!

This isnt a walk or a run, but I coach high school basketball kids and we have our first practice tonight. Ive been coaching for seven years and Ive devoted the season to Casey. Ill keep everyone up to date with how we do!

Hi David! It's great to have you in the group! If anyone does any walks or runs, be sure to take pictures and post them here or on your profile!

I just saw this earlier on NYTimes... I am definitely starting to feel lazy as it is getting colder out, so this gave me some insight on how to keep moving in the colder weather, thought you'd all be interested :http://www.nytimes.com/2009/11/12/health/nutrition/12best.html?ref=...

Any runners know when most of the charities associated with the NYC Marathon open up their applications for 2010? I'd really like to get entry into the race by raising money for a charity sponsor. I am stalking the page every other day to see if any new 2010 applications open up, but I was wondering if anyone else knew around when these start. THANKS!!!

Caitlin was 20; challenged with more than epilipsy, God Bless her. Her father is the assistant principal of our high school and one of the most genuine men you would ever want to know...such a great father....always had her by his side whether you saw them at a football game or in the Acme. She touched the hearts of many...

Aw that is so sad :( How old was she? I'm sure the walk was a lot more powerful and gained a great deal of support in her honor.
