What city are you in?: Philadelphia

What are you doing because of Casey?: In honor of Casey's parents and in memory of Casey I share Casey's story on a regular basis with the emphasis on helping Casey's parents in hope that other familes don't ever have to experience their sorrow upon hearing that their beloved child was killed by a distracted driver. I also unfortunately on a regular basis remind drivers no matter how annoyed they get at me for yielding to pedestrians in crossways that people have the human and legal right to safetly cross the street regardless whether or not its legal to turn right at a red light.

I am Casey Feldman's mother and Joel Feldman's wife. Please accept our belated thank you for joining our site. We are always humbled whenever we have anyone who joins the Network. We appreciate you thinking of Casey and the work that we have been doing in the wake of Casey's death.

We have been doing much to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving. Joel has amassed some 800 lawyers and judges throughout all 50 states and Canada to speak to students about distracted driving. We were successful in getting resolutions passed in the Commonwealth of PA, Delaware County and Montgomery County declaring April 2012 as Distracted Driving Awareness Month.
