Hi  Brooke,  It's been a while since I last saw you and was so impressed when i read the article about you speaking at your former high school about distracted driving.  Your article gave me goose bumps and filled my eyes with tears.  I know Casey is so proud of you.  Hope to see you again.  Love, Rachael (a/k/a the pink scarf lady).

good afternoon, Brooke. I just finished reading your "date night" entry and didn't want it to end. Your story makes it seem as though Casey is still here with us. I love the fact that you guys had such fun nights together. Your story took me away from computer and right to a sidewalk table at Pomodoro. Thanks for sharing that beautiful memory. Now I can add it to my own memories.

Hi Brooke:
Thanks for putting those photos of the "Pink Pillow" project at Joel's firm in the beginning of the website. I wish I had been there helping because I am a breast cancer survivor. Maybe next year. Thanks for all you are doing to keep Casey's memory alive. Say hello to the New York girls for me. Don't you just love the photos of all of you wearing your pink scarves at the Pink Performance at Casey's high school.

Brooke,
Great to see you as always on Friday. I'm so glad you had the chance to come down and visit Springfield, and see a little bit of the family of Casey's that is STW. I also just wanted to say that you've done such an awesome job organizing this site and helping build such a strong network. Thank you personally, because this is a site I can visit every day for the rest of my life and remember what a positive impact Casey had on my life. I hope to get up to NYC sometime soon, and I'll definitely let you and the girls know when I make the plans. ~matt

I think it is so wonderful that you girls made it down for the play and Casey's dedication . It means so much to Joel and Dianne to have you all there. Casey is very much alive in all of you !!! What a terrific group of girls !!! xxoo

Hi everyone! I am really happy to share that I recently found out I was accepted to run the 2010 ING New York City Marathon!! This is a huge dream and I could have never imagined I would get the chance, or be strong enough or brave enough, to do this someday. But why wait another year, I thought... if it's a goal of mine, I shouldn't waste anytime accomplishing it.I am running the 26.2 miles on November 7th, 2010 on behalf of a great charity,…See More

How did you get to know Casey?
Casey's College Friend

I found this while browsing a design blog. I really love this quote, because it is so true. God doesn't judge our lives by a set period of time, if he did, we would all live until 100 (or later!). We can't measure life in seconds or years, that is not what is of value. What matters is how much we gave, how much we enriched the lives of others during our time on this earth. Although not long, Casey did live a deep life, so full of love, happiness, friendship, and fulfillment.
