Joel,( and Dianne) I just want you to know how much Colin and I feel your heartache and only wish there were more we could do to help. You know we are here anytime you want to talk....vent...get mad as hell... tell Casey stories... listen...cry. I know the anniversary must be such a difficult day for you and Dianne .... what you do on that day to celebrate Casey is nothing short of miraculous!!! I feel honored to be part of it. I hope and pray it brings you some comfort and peace to know that through your strength and actions Casey's life continues to have a positive impact on so many others. (Just read a note from Simon from Australia that found Casey's web-site... thats amazing!!) I wish you more better days ahead. We love you .. . xxoo
Joel,
Great interview with Fox News. We thought you did a great job concerning pedestrian safety. You looked very professional and spoke quite well under the circumstances. The picture of Casey was great. Aunt Susan
"What do you want to eat, Casey Doodle?" I hear those words as clearly today as when they were spoken. Casey would stand there, tilt her head and go into deep consideration of all the options. Just the other day I recalled that Casey Doodle was your favorite term of endearment for my sweet niece. As I read your recent posting in which you refer to Casey as such, it brought back some sweet memories. Thanks for sharing; we are blessed with many wonderful memories.
my love to you,
janice
You're welcome. I'm glad to be a part of the network. I hope everything went well at the shelter on Saturday. Next year I will be sure to volunteer at a local shelter. Once I find a house and get settled, finding a local shelter is one of my top priorities. I always wanted to do more for homeless animals. Casey has, at times been an inspiration for me to do a little more.
Hi Joel, I just wanted you to know that I will be thinking of you on Sunday and praying that you will feel the presence of Casey not only in your heart but surrounding you and knowing that she is sending you her love every day. I know I don't have to tell you that. I love all these photos I am watching as I am typing this of you and Casey. She has your smile. Love you. Rachael xxoo
Love all the pictures of you with Casey. She surely is a beauty who is smiling down and watching over you all the time. We enjoyed your article in the paper, but I probably did not tell you personally. I know you always were a great lawyer and happy to hear that you are understanding your clients even better. Just want you to know that you are always in our prayers and thoughts. Try to smile and enjoy life somewhat. Love Susan
hi Joel, we would love to stop over to see you guys....I'll check with Colin about Thursday...we actually drove by the other night ( Wed ) to see the tree. It looked quiet at your house so we didn't make our presence known ??? It is truly breathtaking... so beautiful and such a tribute to Casey's spirit that continues to shine brightly ...look forward to seeing you ... xxoo
I am so glad you commented because, even though I do not know you that long, the first thing I thought when I saw those pictures from the pillow stuffing, was how good it was to see you smile. Furthermore, how can any child ever be forgetten? Look how blessed you are at the legacy she has left here on earth. We are all just passing through but how many of us get to leave an impact the way she has. God bless you all.

Thanks for the note. We added a bit to the Alternative Breaks program last month. It's a great cause. Thanks for sponsoring it.
