Congratulations on your success in the pageant! Although you didn't win, you made out temendously well! You should post what you are doing on this site. While I am sure that running in pageants had nothing to do with Casey, your platform does, as well as  the efforts that you are taking in N.J.  in reference to pedestrian safety! Wonderful Kiersten!! The Children's Miracle Network and Miss America Scholarship Fund are very worthy charities. My husband and I will certainly contribute, particularly given your platform and that you knew and worked with Casey at Bob's Grill. Do you have to win Miss Cape May County and Miss New Jersey to compete in the Miss America Pageant?

I think that you can add your upcoming pageant as an "event" on this site and provide a link for people to contribute. You could also include it on the Casey Feldman Network Facebook page. Since the driver who ran down Casey was distracted (he never saw her and was reaching for an iced tea), I think that you may want to expand your platform - raising awareness of the dangers of distracted driving as well as pedestrian safety. Wonderful to hear from you Kiersten! So glad that college and rowing has been going well for you. Also so happy to hear about your participation in the upcoming pageant and your platform! Hello Kiersten and welcome to the Network site. I am always moved as well as humbled when someone new joins. Thank you so much. Through this site we are keeping Casey's memory alive and at the same time, all doing good things "because of Casey". We are so excited about your platform for the upcoming pageant! Please keep us posted and let us know if there is anything that we can do.

The homepage of this site may seem a bit intimidating at first. For starters every time you log on I suggest you take a look on the right hand side of the page, “In the News” and to the left hand side of the page, “Latest Activity”. Also displayed on the homepage in the upper right corner beneath you name is your “Inbox” which will tell you if you have any messages. To send and receive private messages to and from others on this site you do need to be “friends.” Simply go to that member’s page ) and click on “Add as Friend”. The “My Page” link is also displayed on the homepage in the upper right corner beneath you name and will take you directly to your own page where any site member may leave comments for you.

Also, there is a “News and Updates” blog on the Foundation site which includes newsworthy items related to all three of the Casey websites. All three sites may be accessed simply through www.CaseyFeldman.com.
