July 17, 2011 Day of Service to Honor Casey's Memory at To Be Announced
July 17, 2011 from 9am to 3pm
We will be returning this year to Francisvale no-kill animal shelter for a day of service in memory of Casey . Service will include laying insulation in a portion of the attic, doing some outdoor work to prepare a doggie play area and some "lighter" indoor work to possibly include adminstrative tasks. You will have the option to choose which task you would like to perform. July 17, 2010 all day
July 17th this year will be spent doing service work by many of us to honor Casey’s memory on this first anniversary of her passage into the spirit world.Thus far, we have lined up Francisvale no-kill animal shelter in Radnor. Greater Philadelphia Cappies Gala - Casey to be honored at Upper Darby Performing Arts Center

The Cappies recognize the accomplishments of high school theater students and the talents of high school journalists. The Philadephia region gala will be on Sunday, May 23 at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center. Thanks for your reply to my post. I lost a friend my freshman year in high school who was hit while crossing the street on her way back to school during lunch. That year, my school lost 3 students in a 2 month period to cars. My family was very impacted by that and I've been involved in trying to bring more awareness to this issue. I've written a series of articles on being safe and courteous at intersections to try to decrease the number of teens who are effected by car crashes. I heard about the Casey Feldman Network and want to help in any way I can.

It's funny how I always heard so much about you and now even though I just met you in person in July, I feel like I already met you before that! Thanks, I am glad you can find the site as a kind of comfort. It's always still a work in progress! Casey always found my OCD workaholic-ness amusing, so this is just my natural way of re-routing that energy for her. I definitely plan to visit PA over winter break so maybe I'll see you then or if you come up to NY!

- Hi Matt, I wish I would have introduced myself to you last night. You might say that I am Casey's adopted Aunt. I have known Casey since the day she was born but moved away and lost contact. I wish that would not have happened but stuff happens. I am also the lady who crocheted all those pink scarves. The show last night was so awesome and very emotional. I could just envision Casey on the stage. You did a good job organizing the "pink performance" to honor your friend. By the way, I am also Matt Grace's adopted Aunt.
