We will be returning this year to Francisvale no-kill animal shelter for a day of service in memory of Casey . Service will include laying insulation in a portion of the attic, doing some outdoor work to prepare a doggie play area  and some "lighter" indoor work to possibly include adminstrative tasks. July 17th this year will be spent doing service work by many of us to honor Casey’s memory on this first anniversary of her passage into the spirit world.Thus far, we have lined up Francisvale no-kill animal shelter in Radnor. The Cappies recognize the accomplishments of high school theater students and the talents of high school journalists. The Philadephia region gala will be on Sunday, May 23 at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center. Casey will be remembered and given an honorary Cappie recognizing her for theater and journalsim.There are around 300 nominees for the 38 awards. The reception before Friday's "Pink Performance" begins at the school at 5:30 p.m. Food will be served, a slideshow will take place and a plaque in Casey's memory to be hung in the theatre will be dedicated at this memorial ceremony.
