Rosie Lyus has not received any gifts yet
Good morning, Rosie----9:36am here on the 'other side of the pond.' It's been a while, so I wanted to reach out to say 'hello', Happy Easter and hope all is well. Casey's 25th birthday is approaching, so I have been perusing her site reflecting on who she was and considering how much our relationship would have grown by now had she still been with us. I know you to be a spiritual person and ask that you keep Dianne and Joel in your prayers.
My love to you and your parents,
janice
Dianne L. Anderson said… Hi Rosie! This is Dianne, Casey's mother and your 2nd (?) cousin. Thanks so much for joining the site. It is great to have family on the other side of the Atlantic keeping in touch and learning a bit about Casey. Through this site we are keeping Casey's memory alive and at the same time, all doing good things "because of Casey".
The homepage of this site may seem a bit intimidating at first. For starters every time you log on I suggest you take a look on the right hand side of the page, “In the News” and to the left hand side of the page, “Latest Activity”. Also displayed on the homepage in the upper right corner beneath you name is your “Inbox” which will tell you if you have any messages. To send and receive private messages to and from others on this site you do need to be “friends.” Simply go to that member’s page ) and click on “Add as Friend” (the members link is in the toolbar at the top of every page.) The “My Page” link is also displayed on the homepage in the upper right corner beneath you name and will take you directly to your own page where any site member may leave comments for you.
We also have two other websites , www.CaseyFeldmanMemories.org and www.CaseyFeldmanFoundation.org. On the "Memories" site, you can view the memories of others, as well as photographs, videos, Casey’s writings and more. The Foundation site includes information about scholarships and scholarship recipients, fundraising events, the charities which have benefited and more. There is a “News and Updates” blog on the Foundation site which includes newsworthy items related to all three sites. All three sites may be accessed simply through www.CaseyFeldman.com.
My love to you and the rest of the family on the other side of the ocean!
Welcome to the Casey Feldman Network site Rosie! Please feel free to explore our site - view photo albums, join groups, participate in forum discussions and more. Every new member becomes a valued part of this network community of people who have vowed to do better, "because of Casey...." Thank you for joining us!
Please also feel free to visit our two companion sites which may be accessed through www.caseyfeldman.com
Yes indeed, Casey was very special. Did you ever meet Casey? Your uncle Charles met Casey on several occasions and I believe he experienced a lot of grief upon hearing of her accident and subsequent passing.
I am very glad that you are a member and that you have taken the time to get to know Casey. Like you, Casey was a very special person.
my best,
janice
Welcome, Rosie!!! So glad you joined Casey's site. This is Janice, Casey's aunt and your 3rd cousin or so. You visited us a few years back. Although Casey's story is tragic and sad, her message is a very important one that is surely saving lives. Check out our family photos on the "groups" pull-down above. The last picture taken when we were all together (two weeks before the accident) is the one of us on the beach at Casey's family's Sea Isle City house--taken July 4th, 2009.
Again, welcome and please give my love to the family.
love to you,
janice g.
