Hi Melissa. I just read the memories article you posted about Casey's dog Nikki. I cried the entire time I was reading it. Casey was so lucky to have so many friends who loved her and who still love her. I was happy to celebrate her birthday with her friends. I know that animals can't talk but they have feelings too and I'm sure Nikke missed Casey and now they are together. Looking forward to seeing you again. Rachael (the scarf lady)

It was nice to meet you last night. The show was awesome. What a wonderful tribute to Casey. Much emotion was in that room last night. It made me happy to see all the scarves being worn by Casey's friends. If there was a way I could send one to heaven for her, you know I would do it. Hope to see you again.

Melissa, thank you for asking me to be your friend. I am delighted that you reached out to me. I must say that I and everyone else thoroughly enjoyed your part in the video presentation at the memorial service at Fordham. Our spirits were elevated and our hearts mended a bit hearing the beautiful tribute you and others made to Casey. It was truly lovely and touched all of Casey's friends and family members. I just love the pictures of you, Amber and Casey doing your midnight dance on the beach--what fun you must have been having. Thank you for your kindness and presence and for being with my sister and Joel during these difficult months. My love goes out to you.

Melissa - Casey's Mom can email you the photo or possibly print one out from her computer. It is an adorable photo and one that should be posted on this website. I'll be watching the service today and praying hard for everyone. Even though we are all grieving her loss, we also have to celebrate her life. Strive to reach your goals because that is what Casey would want you to do. Looking forward to meeting you.

Hi Melissa, Just wanted to tell you how much I loved the photo of you, Dianne and Amber wearing one of "Casey's" scarves. I was so excited about making them and the count is now up to 30.
