Hi Brooke, It's been a while since I last saw you and was so impressed when i read the article about you speaking at your former high school about distracted driving. Your article gave me goose bumps and filled my eyes with tears. I know Casey is so proud of you. Hope to see you again. Love, Rachael (a/k/a the pink scarf lady).
good afternoon, Brooke. I just finished reading your "date night" entry and didn't want it to end. Your story makes it seem as though Casey is still here with us. I love the fact that you guys had such fun nights together. Your story took me away from computer and right to a sidewalk table at Pomodoro. Thanks for sharing that beautiful memory. Now I can add it to my own memories.
Hi Brooke - I am telling all my friends to Click To Give - The Animal Rescue Site.
Good luck with your new dog Riley. He is a lucky dog. We have a Yorkie and I just love him. He takes good care of me and keeps me company every day. Love you.
Thanks for putting those photos of the "Pink Pillow" project at Joel's firm in the beginning of the website. I wish I had been there helping because I am a breast cancer survivor. Maybe next year. Thanks for all you are doing to keep Casey's memory alive. Say hello to the New York girls for me. Don't you just love the photos of all of you wearing your pink scarves at the Pink Performance at Casey's high school.
Great to see you as always on Friday. I'm so glad you had the chance to come down and visit Springfield, and see a little bit of the family of Casey's that is STW. I also just wanted to say that you've done such an awesome job organizing this site and helping build such a strong network. Thank you personally, because this is a site I can visit every day for the rest of my life and remember what a positive impact Casey had on my life. I hope to get up to NYC sometime soon, and I'll definitely let you and the girls know when I make the plans. ~matt
Hi Brooke...I will talk with one of the guys that works for Back on My feet ( Austin) He is the team leader for the group that i run with and just ran the N.Y. marathon ( for BOMF). I'll keep you posted.
Joel tells me you are the master mind behind the web site......what a wonderful job you've done. I don't think you will have any problem getting a job when you graduate if you haven't already!!! You are very talented ... the web site could not be more perfect !!!
I think it is so wonderful that you girls made it down for the play and Casey's dedication . It means so much to Joel and Dianne to have you all there. Casey is very much alive in all of you !!! What a terrific group of girls !!! xxoo
hi brooke! i'm glad i joined the site too. casey's mom sent me the link on facebook. benji is doing well...he used to be so timid, and now he's running up to people and licking their hands! have you heard how casey the puppy is doing with her new family? i love looking at all your pictures of casey on here :)
Hi Brooke, I'm happy you have a "Casey" scarf. I'm still making them - 30 to date. I look forward to seeing friends and family members wearing the scarves. I was thinking the other day, how did I think of this idea? I do crochet and wanted to do something to honor Casey, then I thought of the scarves. I think Casey put the idea in my head. Were you one of Casey's sorority sisters at Fordham? I'll be watching the memorial service on Thursday and attending the tribute to her on November 20th at Springfield High School. I look at this website almost every day and am in awe of the love that is pouring in for Casey and her family. Casey was a newborn when I first saw her and even then she was beautiful. Thank you for all you are doing for Casey. Perhaps some day we will meet. Rachael
