HI Janice, I've been thinking a lot about Casey this week. I know it is a sad time as we approach Casey's 25th birthday. I also know that Casey will be celebrating with Jesus and that she is watching over her family and friends. Love, Rachael
Hi Janice, I clearly remember when we met last year. Thanks for reaching out to me. I did not knowing Casey personally before that tragic day, but after reading and meeting all who did---it is truly an honor to be a part of this network in her memory and the great cause to hopefully save lives and family heartaches.
I met Casey twice. Once in 92 when I was 9 and then again in Jan 08 ~I think it was then, my memory is terrible! Whenever it was that my parents and i came over and went to New York and you guys took us for that delicious meal somewhere near a harbour and then to that line dancing place when we stopped by at yours! Great memories xx
I just wanted to say thank you for taking time to write to me. I am sooo proud to be able to become a part of Casey's Legacy. She truly is an inspiration and I hope to help spread the word and get more people involved in this.
I am so sorry to hear about Casey and my heart goes out to all of you. Our website is, www.claytonshope.org, where you can learn more about Clay, our organization and our annual walk (I am Clay's mom). I google our walk, "Steps for Seizures" each year for marketing purposes and your site came up with a member posting the walk. I am not sure as to who the member was, as it did not list a name.
Again, my heart and thoughts go out to you and your family and if there is anything that our organization can do for yours, please do not hesitate to let me know.

thank you so much for the welcome. this site really means alot to me, i was also struck by a vehicle. i am very thankful to still be alive to tell my story. pedestrian accident can be 100% preventable if we just pay attention while on the rode. i really hope through our stories that we make a difference:)
No pics -- I just made a donation to the WWF (World Wildlife Fund) to help with relief efforts in the Gulf due to the oil spill + I stopped by the local animal shelter to donate some dry food and a few blankets for the animals waiting to be adopted. I really wouldn't call that a "day of service" but I did have Casey on my mind at the time -- she is always on my mind.
Hi Janice, Michael is on the website and I know he would love to hear from you. He was so excited that they had such a great day on Saturday, July 17. The best so far. They are doing it again on July 31st and anyone interested in meeting them at Love Park can post a comment to him and visit the website for this project. www.thebrotherlyloveproject.blogspot.com
Thank you for commenting and welcoming me to the Casey Feldman Network. By the way you talk about Casey, and being a niece myself, I'm sure she thought of you as a second mother the way you thought of her as a daughter. I was lucky enough to meet Casey a few years back when she worked at Anapol Schwartz for the summer. Unfortunately, I really didn't get to know her that well, and after hearing what a great person she was, I really do feel like I missed out on getting to know a really wonderful person, especially after hearing about her love of animals. I always find myself trying to do what I can for stray cats and shelter animals. Though, I never did nearly as much as Casey, she will be my inspiration to do more, and to be a better person as a whole, not just a more aware driver/pedestrian.
Thank you for welcoming me to Casey's page...Yes I saw the banner while I was on the boardwalk in OC last month...It really touched me when I read about Casey so I decided to check out her website....It is an amazing site and she was a beautiful young woman with her whole life ahead of her...It is so tragic what happned to her...I just received in the mail from her mother, bracelets, a magnet and a t-shirt...I love them all...I hope when I wear them that it inspires others to become aware of "cross walks" and maybe they to will join the Casey Feldman foundation...I am glad to be a part of it and it makes me feel like a part of the family...You don't always have to know someone to be touched by their story...I wish I had the chance to get to know Casey...Lots of love...Lacey
thank you so much for your comment about my article...it honestly made me tear up! i am so glad to have gotten a chance to get to know all of caseys family since last summer...it definitely makes me feel closer to her to know all of you.
Hi Janice, Thank you so much for your kind note and for the love you and Jim have shown Carlton. Being a part of the tree lighting was just wonderful - I see why keeping in touch and being with your family is so important to Carlton. He just adores Dianne and Joel (not to even begin to say how he felt about Casey) and you all have been so welcoming and caring toward him. I am so very proud of Carlton, he is a good guy and I'm glad he has made a good friendship with all of you. Hope to see you again over the summer - maybe we can get together at a "Geeter with the Heater" event!
Hi Janice....Thank you for the note....I was married to Robert Baruffi, but, he decided to move on...I am divorced but. Robert gave me a wonderful son, Philip who is 29 and my only child...My heart goes out to you all and Diane ...What a wonderful Mom and person ....Casey was an angel on earth....I call them earth angels and not everyone is one but, she sure was and is.....She is with you all....Thank you so much for writing to me....Arlene

Hi Janice-Thank you for the warm welcome. I have visited the site often and keep up with the news and events through Melissa and her stories of "Tuesday night dinner". I'll be thinking of your family tomorrow.
Thank you for the kind welcome Janice. I have not met your daughter, but had the pleasure of knowing Casey during our time at Fordham. While I wish I could say I knew Casey better than I did, I am happy to be learning more about her each day through friends, articles and this site. She truly was one of a kind.
